Bulgaria crop tours as a structured activity in our portfolio

For seven years in a row, Agricore’s customers had the opportunity to be among the first to learn about Bulgaria’s potential in the field of grain production via the reports from our regular Bulgaria crop tours. In the period from May 29th till June 2nd 2023, our colleagues from AgroPortal carried out the Seventh Spring Crop Tour, in which they again surveyed the current state of the main winter crops – wheat, barley and rapeseed and made another precise forecast for the average yield and production by region and nationwide. The Summer Crop Tour was held from August 7th till 11th, and its purpose was also to survey and draw up a forecast for the production of the main spring crops for Bulgaria, namely corn and sunflower.

With each passing year, the interest in the reports and forecasts of AgroPortal (brand of Agricore) increases, and this year nearly 100 companies and organizations directly or indirectly operating in the field of agricultural production had the opportunity to receive them as Premium and Lineup subscribers. Just as an example, our wheat yield forecast this year was 99.6% correct, compared to the one released by the Ministry of Agriculture nearly three months later.
